Existing reflective materials can be used to combat climate change by utilizing the rooftops of existing structures. It would become mandatory that rooftop would simply be painted with white reflective paint or use roofing materials that have white UV reflective properties to mimic the diminishing polar caps. This would only be done for a minimum of 20 years to see the reversal take place.
