Exactly one year ago today, the voice of Sandra Bland was silenced. Or so we thought. Her voice continues to speak to the political climate of the country and has to be heard through action. We the people invoke her spirit and call on the Federal Government to establish The Sandra Bland Commission in order to reform the culture of policing and to ensure that those guilty of misconduct while wearing the color blue are held accountable to the public.
