It is important that the American people recognize the contribution made by Michelle Obama to the health and well-being of children and that we mount a formal opposition to the racist and intemperate slurs that come forth from the Republicans and the so-call Tea Bagger arm of that party. Mrs. Obama has been and is an elegant First Lady who well handles the difficult position of First Lady. She makes us proud. She provides a much-needed counter-balance to the nitwits among us.
