Stand with law abiding gun owners after the horrible act that occurred in Conn. Banning certain types of firearms and accessories will not deter further acts like this to occur. 1: Look at our laws of how we treat offenders or potential planners of these actions(modify, within reason, peoples citizen statuses who execute or are caught planning acts of terror). 2: The mental health issue. Develop a registry to identify violent persons and same would surrender their rights, by law, to bear arms until they are medically cleared of issues. 3: Train employees in high risk areas on the signs of potential acts of terror and make it mandatory. 4: Allow high risk areas place armed personnel that are vetted through the government and "protected by federal law". Federal, State or Private funded.
