The Child Custody, Support, and Visitation laws and their implementation are unfair, gender biased, and because of their adversarial nature, often fail the very parties they were designed to hold in the highest regard, the children.
These children, and the relationships they have with each of their separated parents, have to be protected.
Child Custody should default to 50/50 and require persuasive argument or agreement for alteration therefrom.
Child Support award recipients should be required to demonstrate how the funds benefit the child. The award level should not cause the bankruptcy or incarceration of a noncustodial parent.
