My husband is being unfairly imprisoned in Colombia! He worked for 23 yrs as a federal LEO, now retired. (Navy before) Our son was born 5 weeks ago. He is now planning to be a SAHD. As a present, I sent him on his dream vacation to Colombia. He was going to spend 3 wks traveling with friends. As a LEO, he LOVES guns. He took (what he thought was) an empty bag to bring home souvenirs. It turns out that in that bag were bullets for his M4 Carbine rifle. They arrested him because it's illegal to bring bullets into Col. He is being charged with intn to provide military arms (11-15 years): a 5 yr "deal" or to stay & face trial. He is sleeping in a cage outside w 5 others. US embassy there is doing NOTHING! My husband has spent his life serving his country, which is turning its back on him!
