Free education for all

Created by E.H. on September 24, 2011

One of the most productive programs we ever had was the GI Bill of Rights. That should be duplicated. Each person with the motivation and skills should be encouraged to attend school tuition free. Young people should be encouraged to get a high school diploma and go on to college. Older people should be encouraged to go back to school when their maturity is greater and they can benefit from training. Limitations on this would be inability to pass an entrance exam (the person should be assigned a class or tutor to improve skills if they are low) and/or low performance after class attendance. Older people should be given a stipend to help pay expenses.
