Erik Jensen was 17 when he was sentenced to life without parole. Erik's friend Nate Ybanez murdered his own mother after years of sexual abuse. Erik and Nathan had just gotten off of work and Nathan asked to stop at his house before they went to Erik's house. Erik waited outside for about 20 minutes then went to check on Nate and his mom said to check in Nate's room. As Erik saw that Nate wasn't in his room, he turned around and saw Nate kill his mother after years of abuse in about a minute. Erik and a friend Brett made the mistake of helping to clean up the crime scene. Brett had previous charges and made a plea bargain which Erik was able to be sentenced to life without parole for a murder he didn't commit, and a sentence he did not deserve one bit.
