I would like to come to you asking for recognition of a friend of mine. Alonzo Hunt of Harlem, New York is in dire need of help. This man was accused of rape. There is absolutely no evidence of this wonderful man having done such a crime. This is a good, whole man that has a baby on the way. This is a young man that has great promise. He is currently awaiting trial and has been treated very poorly. He is emaciated and “placed in solitary for refusing to be raped” (192). He lives everyday of his life in awful conditions. This is not fair for someone that did not commit any crime to be treated with such severity.
