As an DOD / Government Worker for our military children; we are prone to sicknesses and illnesses just as likely as a member of the military. We respect our duties of caring for children of military families for more than 10 hours a day. We have come across some rising and frequent issues, we as Workers are getting illnesses as frequent than a civilian worker, and feel that it coincides as an similarity of an workers compensation issue. Their are too many frequent viral,and bacterial issues that arise within the center on a monthly basis due to the children of military workers, that us workers have to come out of pocket for with co-pays and bills. Us employees are getting sick because of our responsibilities of our job. That logically can not be avoided.
