Imagine enduring the indignities of life behind bars missing out on your child's life knowing that you're innocent. I present another case of injustice in the U.S. judicial system. In 2000, Jason Elder was accused, convicted, setup and improperly found guilty of 2 counts of armed robber & sentenced to life in prison. He was 17 years old. It was his 1st offense, no prior convictions. He didn't have a fair trial and was provided inadequate legal representation. He wasn't aware of his constitutional rights. The videotape exonerated Mr. Elder yet the judge still sentenced him to life in prison. There was no gun, no fingerprints and no tangible evidence to prove Jason Elder was guilty. He was setup by Officer Greg Ramey, that coached witness Katherine Taylor to say Jason was one of the robbers
