free Jerusalem from the grips of Israel and Palestine. Jerusalem should become the first sovereign territory of the U.N.

I believe that the city of Jerusalem should become the first sovereign territory of the United Nations. Freeing Jerusalem in this way will circumvent war in the region and around the world. No one nation should lay claim to the holy lands of the world. In fact, the United Nations should make all holy land part of its sovereign territory. I started with Jerusalem because I have a personal affinity for Jesus Christ. However, it would make sense if all holy land around the world were to be treated as International Territory. All people from all over the world should be allowed to travel to and from such lands without impunity and free of harm and danger.
