Free Justina Pelletier and direct the Justice Dept.to investigate violation of the family's civil rights and liberties .

Created by S.F. on February 17, 2014

Justina Pelletier is a teen diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease by Tufts. Over a year ago, she was referred to Boston Children's Hospital to see a GI specialist (who still hasn't seen her). BCH admitted her to the psychology ward and took custody of her (thru DCF) after claiming "Mitochondrial Disease does not exist." They have kept her parents from communicating with her doctors or transferring her back to Tufts. The family is allowed a 1 hr supervised visit & two 20m supervised calls. She is not allowed to talk to any friends. BCH has ignored the concerns & rights of Justina & her parents. To date, no DCF investigation has been done to support the removal of Justina from her parent's custody. Without proper treatment, her condition continues to worsen (condensed from Facebook).
