Let's be honest. Even if you oppose Kim Davis, and her choice to not issue licenses for homosexual civil unions, she is not actively harming anyone. The government can easily issue licenses in many other ways, such as through her deputy clerks.
One of the philosophical foundations of our country is that the law of God is higher than the law of man. All she did was to support this. Does she deserve to be thrown in jail for not violating our conscience?
