Leonard Peltier is a Native American political prisoner of the United States who was wrongfully tried and convicted of killing government employees. Two other men who were convicted of the crime by the government was found to be innocent by a jury. The same evidence was presented in court, and the jurors stated on national tv that they were more afraid of the FBI if they found him not guilty than of Mr. Peltier if he were released.
