Leonard Peltier is an innocent Native American serving 2 life sentences. He was a leader of the American Indian Movement and was selected to be a leader of the Pine Ridge Reservation. The FBI had a very bad relationship with the Pine Ridge reservation and looked for any excuse to put Leonard in jail. When Leonard was at the scene of a shooting, the FBI took the opportunity to plant casings from Leonard's gun next to the 2 FBI agents that were shot that day. They also had a woman claim she was Leonard's girlfriend and sign affidavits. She was not even at the scene of the shooting. The FBI pressured many people into testifying for them, but all of the people later admitted their lies. Leonard suffers from many medical conditions and time is running out.
