Leonard Peltier was arrested for the events that occurred at Wounded Knee II. There is a lot of evidence, whether it be the car he was driving, or the rifle he had in his car, that he wasn't involved with the shootings. He has been in jail since 1975 and deserves to live the rest of his life as he wishes.
