Free Leonard Peltier from prison. He was falsely accused, and remains innocent of any crime.

Created by A.B. on December 14, 2012

American Indian Movement member Leonard Peltier was falsely accused for the murder of two FBI agents in the 1970s, and remains behind bars as an innocent man. The trials that were conducted were set up for a conviction. Two other men were tried and acquitted on the grounds of self-defense during their trail in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. However, Peltier stood trial in Fargo, North Dakota, with a different jury, and against a judge who was a well known Anti-American Indian. Much of the evidence was fabricated and witnesses were tortured and threatened to speak out against Peltier even though their testimonies were false. We need to sign this petition so that Peltier can live as a free man before he dies of his worsening health.
