FREE LEONARD PELTIER, who was convicted and sentenced to two terms of life imprisonment for murders he did not commit.

Created by S.E. on November 15, 2012

Leonard Peltier was wrongly convicted for the killings of two FBI agents in 1977. The prosecution was full of fallacies. Judge Heaney even voices support of his freedom and has stated that the FBI used "improper tactics..." (freeleonard.org)

He has served over 29 years in prison. It's time to let this 68 year old live what years he has left outside of prison to continue helping others, as he's done throughout his years in prison.

He has made donations of his paintings to Native American recovery programs, has an annual gift drive for children in Pine Ridge and has fund raisers for battered women's shelters.

This man deserves to go home and be with his family.
