Marc Emery was extradited to the USA for selling cannabis seeds from his business in Vancouver BC, Canada. He is now serving a five year prison sentence in Mississippi for seed sales. Marc has spent his life practicing peaceful civil disobedience in order to change US cannabis policy which the rest of the world follows because of an international drug control treaty. Marc donated over 4 million dollars of his seed profits to US organizations that focus on ending cannabis prohibition, and ending the war on adults who use cannabis responsibly. At the time of his arrest, the US authorities admitted that his arrest was purely political. Marc was one of the people that made legalization possible in Washington State, and Colorado.
