FREE MATT PITT, A LOCAL ALABAMA PASTOR JAILED FOR STANDING UP FOR CIVIL RIGHTS, JUSTICE, AND GOD.

Created by B.K. on November 25, 2013

Matt Pitt was accused of impersonating an officer. This accusation and fake warrant was issued one month after Matt marched in the streets of Birmingham, AL to the same lawn in front of City Hall. He was shown Martin Luther King, Jr.’s jail cell on top of the county building which was commemorated just a few months ago. It was in that cell in 2011 that he was warned to never again unite black and white on that lawn and was jokingly mocked with racial slurs. So now, Pitt sits in a jail cell from an accusation which caused him to “violate” his non-supervised probation. He has been there since August 20, 2013. Because Matt Pitt stood up for civil rights, justice, and God. His civil rights have been trashed. We are demanding his release especially since zero evidence has been presented.
