My son, & his pregnant girlfriend were leaving Brazil, 11/16/12,heading to Colorado. Bags, checked before boarding boat to Manaus. Took hours, to pack their bags.They wanted to buy a ayahuasca plant, at a market. Before they purchased it, they asked if it was OK and was it legal? They were told it is OK and legal. They purchased the plant. He also had a chef's knife. The police at the boat, said,"they did not have a problem with the plant or the knife". Police unpacked their things, as they threw their belongings all over a table, they couldn't pack fast enough. My son, under his breathe, said to his girlfriend, "all our f@#king stuff! The police said, "What did you say"? just my son was arrested for drug trafficking? Police told judge 4 pages of lies? Possible 15 years!
