Absentee ballots in the United States require the voter to affix postage to return their ballots. Here in Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has told voters that is only requires $0.47 to return a ballot in mail that has been sent out. I believe that to be inaccurate information because depending on jurisdiction and ballot initiatives different voters may have different postage requirements even potentially within the same county. Congress could expand the Franking Privilege to include the returning of voter ballots as it has in the past under [39 USCS 3213]." I believe that by easing the voting process brings in the disenfranchised and strengthens our democracy.
