Dear President Obama:
Please free Ramiro "Ramsey" R. Muñiz (40288-115) from federal prison. He is an exceptional person who was an attorney and graduate of Baylor School of Law.
He was an important Civil Rights advocate. He's run for governor of Texas, lectured at numerous universities and was a licensed attorney. He is 72 years of age, non-violent, in poor health, and wheelchair bound. He has submitted a Petition for Commutation of Sentence to the Office of the Pardon Attorney.
His imprisonment is unjust as he didn't receive a fair trial. Brady material was withheld by the prosecution. His arrest was politically motivated. He has languished in prison for decades and it's time he be released so that justice may finally be done.
