Free Robert J. Riley; life in prison for a nonviolent crime

Created by E.B. on May 18, 2014

Robert J. Riley has served 22 years of a life sentence for distribution and sales of LSD. Robert has changed in prison he is noted as being a poet and philosopher. Not only has it ruined Robert's life but it has already cost over half a million tax payer dollars to keep him in prison. President Obama last December freed 9 nonviolent drug offenders and plans to release hundreds more. Keeping a man in prison long after he's payed his dues is inhumane. Even the judge who sentenced Robert felt the punishment far outweighed the crime. Thank you.
