Army Guardsman, Sergeant Derrick Miller has been sentenced to life in prison with the chance of parole by the United States Military. Miller was interrogating a suspected but unarmed insurgent, when the man tried to grab Millers weapon. Miller acted in self-defense and shot the man, yet was accused of premeditated murder and sentenced to life in prison. He acted in self-defense and should never have received such a harsh punishment. Miller should be let out of prison as soon as possible.
