At the time of this writing, the Syrian Civil War has been going on for 2 years,10 months,3 weeks and 3 days.Over that time, between 100,000-140,000 people have died.If that happened to a city such as DC,Baltimore, or Boston, then at minimum nearly 1 out of everr 6 people would've died. Also, nearly 7,000 children have been killed in the conflict had and nearly 5,000 women have died. The common plea "Save the women and children" is nonexistant there.4 British, 4 French, and 1 American civilians have died as a result. The US so far has done nothing much but set "deadlines" and "red lines" which have all been ignored. Not only is it a jab at our legitimicy, but it hurts our status as a world power. There has been a war on the grounds of human rights on Iraq, so why can't there be one on Syria.
