The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia accused Voislav Seselj for financing and supporting military groups in the Yugoslavian Civil War. In order to defend his innocence he came to the Tribunal VOLUNTARY!
Firstly, the proccess was postponed countless number of times as the prosecutor's side didn't have enough evidence of crime. Secondly, he even was not allowed to exit the jail cell on the day of his mother's funeral (this was the first time in the history of the Tribunal when such unhuman prohibition was made).
In the end we have an unguilty man who has been jailed for 10 years so far, without a declaration of conviction.
Such deprivation of liberty is made in the Netherland's Hague Tribunal - in the Center of "Civilized and Humane" Europe!
