Weldon Angelos was sentenced to 55 years for selling pot three times while carrying a gun. It was his first convicted offense and even the judge has called it out and requested the Bush administration for a pardon. The judge felt he didn't have a choice due to mandatory sentence laws that left him no discretion on sentencing.

Angelos has been denied a new trial and has few appeals remaining under his sentence terms. The only thing that can free him is a presidential pardon. Please commute his sentence President Obama. 55 years for dealing marijuana is excessive. He has 2 children who will likely never see him again unless he is pardoned and he has already served 11 years.
