The Gov/BLM is currently holding up to 40,000 "wild" horses and burros in US Gov funded pens - paid for by the US Gov. In order to round these horses/burros up, they are herded over miles of rough terrain in all kinds of weather, horses are killed; due to exhaustion, broken legs and miscarriages - herded by low flying helicopters. Whatever horses make it into the trap still breathing they are then put into holding pens. These are the same animals that are supposed to be protected by our government. The range can support all these animals and then some, leave mother nature alone to deal with it's own kind. This outdated practice is unhumane & barbaric to the horses/burros, The BLM is out of control. Please help free the imprisoned horses that should remain wild & free on the range.
