We are a couple of professional mountaineers recently immigrated to Canada: We have climbed several mountains of Iran and the Himalayas over the past decade and now we are living in the east of Quebec provance. We would like to use the sport of mountaineering as an inspiration for the ongoing struggle and to echo the voice of millions of men and women around the world who are fighting for their freedom, human rights and peace. We chose to climb the highest peak of the world, and bring to the summit of Everest a replica of the Declaration of Human Rights established by Cyrus the Great, the first founder of the Persian Empire in 539 BC.We need your support for this project which is both a sporting and human adventure.
