We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Freedom of Movement and Rapid Transit Act

Created by D.K. on July 13, 2016

As the issue of protesters blocking major roadways and freeways happens more often, a change needs to happen. While our First Amendment rights are important and must be protected, rights must reciprocate, and we cannot willfully allow the exercising of a right if it means restricting the rights of others or causing harm, the same way why yelling "FIRE!" in a crowded movie theater is punishable by law.

Blocking major transportation arteries causes lost productivity. People are unable to be at work at their scheduled time, people are unable to run errands, and more importantly, emergency vehicles now have an increased response time, impacting the performance of their duties.

The Freedom of Movement and Rapid Transit Act would make the intentional blocking of a roadway a felony.
