All students, teachers and staff in public schools should carry the right and choice to pray. We understand the reason of prayer banned in schools was to abide by the first amendment of the bill of rights: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," but this is followed by "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Guns will never be allowed in schools. Allow prayer to be the next best weapon to defend against violence and negative social behavior. If public school bonds can build stadiums, it can also build a 30x30 room without any religious symbols to allow anyone of any religion to pray.
