The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees both freedom of expression and free exercise of religion.
By having the right to express ourselves as we wish, but states of the United States of America should approve the sexuality of people, which itself is one of the biggest problems faced today. Many people who are not in favor of this are religious people but of course, our respect for the constitutional freedom of expression does not mean that remotely agree with or endorse those who try to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. By contrast, President Obama has made clear that "we reject the denigration of any religion." The first amendment means that in our democracy, government can not categorically prohibit speech just because is offensive, no matter whom it offends.
