Freely admit that the ruling on 6/26/15 using the 14th Amendment applies to marriage as well as the 2nd Amendment.

Created by C.L. on June 28, 2015

The fundamental liberties protected by the 14th Amendment's Due Process Clause extend to certain personal choices central to individual liberty & autonomy, including rights central to protection. The Government must apply reasoned judgment in identifying such personal rights so fundamental that the State must accord them it's respect. When new insight reveals discord between the Constitution's central protections and a legal stricture, a claim to liberty must be addressed. Applying these tenets, the Government must uphold the rights given by the 2nd Amendment protected by the Constitution. The 2nd Amendment states: "The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" and must take precedent over any Legislature opposing this. Including the regulation of Concealed Carry.
