I came to know Narges K. Ashtari a few years ago through her humanitarian Prishan Foundation providing homes and education for orphans in India. Narges, an Iranian/British Christian woman (Narges took the time to take individual pictures of the children with their gifts, & provides the same photographic proof that the children receive school supply sets, etc., provided by donors). A local Indian couple swindled money & assets from the foundation, & sought retribution after Narges pressed charges.The couple was sentenced to jail time, but once they were released, they sought to terrorize Narges, including convincing others that Narges was responsible for the disappearance of a local child at a picnic, leading to her unjust conviction earlier this week.She has less than 2 weeks to appeal.
