The upper levels of the United States federal government including the Congress, the White House, and their respective staffs should have their pay frozen until a budget is passed, instead of continuing resolutions. The military men and women, as well as Social Security beneficiaries should not in any way be inconvenienced by the political in fighting in Washington DC. The men and women of our armed forces are doing their jobs, the government is not, by stating that there might be interruptions in pay, due to a disagreement on the purse strings of this nation.
