Freeze salary payments, benefits, and privileges to members of Congress until they reach a definitive budget solution

While we languish in economic uncertainty, wondering if we will keep our jobs and our homes, Congressmen continue to blithely spend our tax dollars to travel around the world, pretending to work while they sight-see. With regard to their actual jobs, they stall and manipulate for their own political gain, without a thought to how it affects us. The American people have had enough of this infantile, irresponsible, self-indulgent Congress. It has become a disgrace and an embarrassment to the United States the world over, not to mention a detriment to the needs and rights of Americans. Congress is meant to serve the American people, to look after their interests and work for their good. Congress is not doing its job. Until it does, freeze all salary, benefits, and privileges to its members.
