French becomes an official language in the state of Louisiana.

The first settlers in Louisiana were french-speaking people. Nowadays, the Federal sate has eradicated the mother-tongue of many people in Louisiana. Furthermore, 1 million people have french ancestors and 32 per cent of the population have African American ancestors. Our children should learn the language of their parents and forefathers.
