President Obama campaigned on a platform of more transparency in government. There has been little progress on this issue. Time to keep that promise.

Hiding information ostracizes American citizens.
It's important for the government to disclose any information it can to collaborate effectively with the states, the people; between different organizations and branches of the system.

It also seems more and more Senators and Representatives have personal agendas based on corporate donations or business relationships. There needs to be reform making it a conflict of interest for politicians to vote on issues or sit on committees when there is evidence they have a vested personal interest in the outcome of the vote.
