Fulfill one of Martin Luther King's unfulfilled dreams and nominate Thich Naht Hahn for the 2014 Nobel Peace Price.

Created by C.H. on January 19, 2014

Dr. King nominated Thich Naht Hahn for the prize in 1967. In His Letter to the Nobel Committee he stated:

"I do not personally know of anyone more worthy of this prize than this gentle monk from Vietnam. He is an Apostle of Peace and Nonviolence " "His ideas for peace, if applied, would build a monument to ecumenism, to world brotherhood, to humanity".

These words are as true today as they were then. Nominating Thich Naht Hahn would be a wonderful tribute to MLK and would shine a light on words, deeds and practices that truly make the world a better place.
