FULL EMPLOYMENT TAX INCENTIVES

Created by N.A. on September 24, 2011

We beleive the Obama Administration should press for elimination of all subsitdies to corporations and tax all corporate income at a flat rate based on gross revenues without any excemptions. In addition all corporations to be required to pay an additional tax to be indexed to the unemployment rate. At zero unemployment (full employment) no additional taxes beyond the flat tax on gross revenues required. As the unemployment rate goes up, an additional corporate tax to be paid to provide benefits for the unemployed. All employees of a publicly held corporation to be paid a portion of their pay in stock and thus have a stake in the success of the corporate entitity. Laying people off or eliminating jobs due to automation should not be attractive options for the owners of corporations.
