This petition requests that a full investigation by federal prosecutors and the Attorney General in the events that resulted in the death of LaVoy Finicum whom was shot dead by federal agents in route to a meeting with the Harney County Sheriff's Department to discuss the subject of turning himself and others in to custody on Tuesday January 20, 2016.
Eyewitness accounts have LaVoy Finicum with his hands up and unarmed at the time he was shot by federal officers representing the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
It is petitioned a full transparent investigation by the Attorney General's office take place to determine if any official in the line of duty acted against federal law in the death of LaVoy Finicum and if found so be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
