Background: where there is no conflict on laws between corporations and politicians (e.g., Legislative + Executive branch), bills are never discussed.
- It happened with Patriot Act under both Bush and Obama.
- The media doesn't cover it as it should and politicians generally have more to lose by speaking about it.
- Let the public have a voice on this issues.
Problems:
- Civil forfeiture
- Credit Card companies having ownership of credit card transactions instead of being owned by the credit card holder
- No due process and lack of warrants
- Personal information mishandled
- So many...
Eventually, before every law is up for votes, there must be a public announcement 20 days prior indicating that bills will come up for vote and that these bills are not attached to unrelated bills
