The federal reserve act of 1913 instituted the FED, which is independent of the US government according to "Lewis vs. United States" of 1982. It has the power to control interest rates, which controls the rate of creation of our money, the federal reserve notes. A partial audit done not too long ago revealed the federal reserve board loaned, in secret, more than $16 trillion to foreign central banks.
So we petition the Obama administration to call for a FULL audit of the federal reserve board and to call for the passing of senate bill S.202 "Audit the FED" in order for this institution to be transparent in what it does with our currency.
