The use of electric bikes & small electric vehicles that move at speeds lesser than 18mph & weigh less than 200 lbs would allow for short distance commuting & delivery saving hundreds of dollars for families, & prevent tons of CO2 from entering our environment.
This petition would prevent municipalities from creating undue regulations on individuals that own these vehicles & from banning them or forcing them to require insurance unless such person opted such protection. This petition includes electric bicycles, electric wheel chairs & similar light weight battery operated transportation devices.
This petition also would prevent pressure from motorcycle & fuel companies attempts at removing these vehicles from our streets.
