There has been significant coverage in the media and elsewhere that describes an agreement being moved forward by the Obama Administration known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The agreement is being described as a trade agreement. The agreement is also being described by many as a secret agreement that is being developed covertly, and that empowers American Corporations in ways that may NOT be in the best interests of the people.
To date, the discussions and terms of this agreement have not been disclosed to the people for interpretation or comment.
The American people should be educated on the terms and implications of this agreement, allowed time to analyze the potential implications, and allowed to publicly comment before such an agreement is signed.
