Fully fund, if not increase, federal student aid programs.

Created by R.W. on September 22, 2011

With more than 13 million Americans unemployed and looking for work, our leaders must be doing all they can to help job-seekers get the skills, training, and credentials they need to re-enter the workforce.

As the government develops a long-term approach to reducing federal budget deficits we urge you to ensure Americans can acquire these skills by accessing and completing a college degree. Vital student aid programs like the Pell Grant and student loan subsidies keep college within reach and debt manageable for millions.

What is your plan to protect every student who relies on student aid, such as a Pell Grant or subsidized Stafford loan, to reach graduation and enter the workforce?
