NASA is completely underfunded. We as a nation need to go back to space and focus on getting to Mars with people and human exploration. Not just outsourcing the work to companies. If we spent what we did on the Iraq war we could already be on Mars with a human settlement. Along with stations in Earth/Lunar orbit.
