Currently the United States government has authorized the transition of educational standards in all public schools to the common core. For such a drastic move to be successful, I hope the federal government will choose to fully fund this transition before school districts are required to implement the change on their own. This is potentially a change for the better but we need adequate funding so districts are not further strained financially.
